Press Badges

Columnists, podcasters, radio personalities, and bloggers are welcomed at Total Confusion. If you would like a press badge, which is free of charge, for the day(s) you want to cover the event, please contact our Media Director, Kevin Baumann, at mediadirector@totalcon.com. Please provide your name, the day(s) you wish to attend, along with a listing of your history and a link to your current work. Once verified, you will be notified if you have been selected to receive a free press badge. We reserve the right to deny a press badge if sufficient credentials are not submitted

Please wear your badge at all times to identify you as press to staff, attendees, and industry guests.

Please get permission (written or verbal) before taking pictures or videos of specific games, people, and especially young players (parental consent is required).

Please do not interrupt games in progress at any time.

Please be respectful when interviewing Industry Guests or Attendees. Harassment is not allowed.

All interviews with Industry Guests must be arranged in advance and through Total Confusion. Failure to adhere to the rules will result in the loss of your badge, removal from the convention, and you will lose the right to return as a press representative.

You must submit your finished blog, podcast, video, or article to the Media Director, Kevin Baumann at mediadirector@totalcon.com within 30 days after the close of the convention. If you fail to submit your finished piece, you will lose the right to a free press pass in the future.
